We had been looking for a used Mercedes-Benz for a few years until this one became available.
When we saw it we snapped it up. It had a couple of problems, which included the engine mounts and both batteries were unserviceable, which I fixed for about $1500. The paint was as new, the mileage was 120,153km, and the car had only done 1500km in the last four years, plus the interior was superb.
The engine and gearbox were in good-as-new condition. We even took it on a shakedown trip to Manjimup, Pemberton, Nannup and back to Perth.
It ran like a new car and returned about 9.5L per 100km. The ride offers superb handling on the open road, which is brilliant because since then we have had it serviced twice with no problems.
