Just when you thought the Abarth 595 couldn’t look any more Italian, Bulgarian tuner Vilner has decked the little hatchback out in the classic Italian red, white and green.
Modifications to the Abarth include a red, white and green stripe runing over the left side of the car, starting at the bonnet, stopping briefly for the sunroof, and then finishing at the rear, where the spoiler is covered in a red and white chequered flag theme.
The design is mirrored on the inside where the Italian colours create one continuous line down the passenger side of the cabin, over the dash, floormats, and the passenger seat.
“This stripe is on the left side because 99% of the time the owner sits on the driver’s side of the car, so there is no point to make such a unique design element and hide it from placing it on the seat and floor mat,” said Atanas Vilner, owner of Vilner.
The surrounds of the original Fiat seats were used, with ’corrugated’ Alcantara forming new central sections. The floor mats and door trims are matched with the same material, and red seatbelts are also included.
“Fiat 500 Abarth 595’s design is a very good base for a unique project design which underlines the Italian origin of the vehicle and which also boosts the sporty character of the Abarth,” Vilner said.
A ‘Record Monza Abarth’ exhaust system is the only performance modification, with Vilner choosing to keep the stock 1368cc turbocharged engine and 5-speed automatic transmission.
Complimenting the car is a leather bag, with a red seatbelt shoulder strap and carbon fibre buckles.
Pricing for the Vilner Abarth 595 is yet to be revealed.
