2018 Nissan 370Z Nismo pricing announced, 370Z prices slashed

Local pricing for the Nissan 370Z Nismo has been announced this week ahead of an “early September arrival”, with the racy coupe priced from $61,490 before on-road costs.

Serving as the new flagship of the 370Z range, the Nismo variant gets a more aggressive body kit, larger brakes, and revised suspension compared to the standard car, along with red highlights on the front lip, mirrors and rear diffuser.

The 370Z Nismo is a coupe-only affair, though is available with either a six-speed close-ratio manual or seven-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters ($63,990).

Final specifications are still to be confirmed, though Nissan says the Nismo will come standard with a 7.0-inch satellite navigation system, leather-accented sports seats and bluetooth. Under the bonnet is the same 245kW/363Nm 3.7-litre V6 as the standard car.

Meanwhile, the regular 370Z range has seen prices slashed to make room for the Nismo, with the entry-level manual coupe now starting at $49,990 before on-road costs – $6940 cheaper than before.

The roadster manual now kicks off at $60,990, representing a $4940 saving.

“The impending arrival of the Nissan 370Z NISMO allowed us to re-look at pricing across all variants,” said Richard Emery, managing director for Nissan Australia.

“We hope this will drive sportscar buyers into Nissan showrooms, giving them more choice and offering significantly more value for money.”

For the month of June, Nissan sold 20 370Z vehicles, and year-to-date have shifted 161 units.
